Brian is a very versatile performer who can add a
touch of sophistication to any event with his instrumental guitar
playing or he can keep the troops entertained playing acoustic guitar
and singing his unique blend of classic tunes and Canadiana. You can

As an instrumental
fingerstyle guitarist, Brian creates images and evokes emotions with his
guitar. As such, he has performed for the Greenbank Folk Music
Society, the Springtide Music Festival, and the Kawartha Lakes Festival
of the Arts.
Vocally, Brian performs acoustic
versions of rock, pop, folk, country and blues tunes that span the
generations - from the 1920s to the 2020s. Brian regularly sings and
plays at local venues and events, including Whitevale Porchfest,
Uxbridge Art on the Fringe, and the Kawartha Lakes Hunters' Moon
Festival.
Brian can perform up to two hours
of instrumental music or 4 hours of vocal music (with a 15 minute break
every hour). Brian always performs "off book" to maximize the
entertainment experience.
More recently, Brian has formed the Brian Wride Trio. The trio adds bass, drums, and vocal harmonies to Brian's guitar and lead vocals. The trio has recently appeared at the Wintersong Music Festival and will be performing at the Springtide Music Festival in 2025. More info can be found here: www.brianwridemusic.ca/trio/
